Prize money for 2017-18 Premier League season revealed as Manchester United takes the highest share over their arch-rival Manchester City.
Cityzen’s stunning and record-breaking title win in Pep Guardiola’s second season in England earned them almost £150million in prize cash, with official figures released showing they have pocketed £149,438,654 from central funds alone.
Jose Mourinho side earns the highest of £149,767,145 from the huge TV deals after having two more matches air on live in the United Kingdom than the Premier League Champions (26).
Manchester City were the second top earners, followed by Liverpool (£145,904,609) and Tottenham Hotspurs came fourth (£144,446,238) despite the Reds finishing lower in the log table that Spurs because they had more games shown live on TV in the UK.

Arsenal came fifth with £142m and the dethroned Premier League Champions Chelsea came sixth with £141.7m, and the top six clubs were the only one’s earning more than £140m but relegation West Brom is the least club to for ‘only’ £94.7m.
The 20 clubs between them have split a staggering £2.42BILLION this season, from annual Premier League income that is now more than £3bn a year, the vast majority from TV deals either at home or from overseas.
