Imo StateAfrica Movie Academy Award (AMAA )mother company, the Africa Film Academy (AFA), is partnering the government of Imo State to train youths from the Eastern Nigerian state who desire a career in filmmaking.The training which will be intensive, is scheduled to run from April 25 to May 10, 2017 in Owerri, the Imo State capital.Ms. Peace Anyiam-Osigwe noted that facilitators will include Segun Arinze, Paul Obazele, Tony Anih among others.The training which will cover script-writing, photography, editing, acting, cinematography, sound, lighting etc, will also witness the students produce short films that will give practical expression to what they will learn during the programme.Venue for the training is My People’s Hall, behind Villa Garden Hotel, New Owerri, Owerri, Imo State from the 25th of April to 10th of May.Registration is still on at the sum of 6000 naira.Please call Philip on 07063442909 for more info.
