The information reaching AMi news desk is that youths in Owerri, Imo state capital had pulled down the statue of South African president Jacob Zuma.
Recall that the IMO state Governor had earlier unveiled the statue of the Liberian president Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and is set to unveil that of Ghanian president Nana Addoh.

The statue which caused a national outcry with many Nigerians criticising the Governor’s use of state fund to run his person/non-governmental projects while civil servants and pensioners in the state are yet to recieve a month salary out of 8 – 10 months been owed. See d clearer photo below…
