PSG superstar’s misplaced pass ended up clattering official Gianluca Rocchi square in the noggin in 3-1 defeat at the Bernabeu
NEYMAR kicked the ball so hard into the face of referee Gianluca Rocchi that he was forced to stop play.
The Paris Saint-Germain superstar attempted to play a pass when the score was 1-1 against Real Madrid in their Champions League last-16 tie at the Bernabeu.
But unfortunately for 44-year-old Italian official Rocchi he found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Neymar clipped the ball away with his right foot only for it to whack Rocchi on the side of the face.
The referee had been standing about eight yards away from the world’s most expensive footballer when he was hit.
