The Sun is claiming that the Blues have tabled a contract offer of around £200,000 a week to try and lure the forward back to west London.

However, the deal is still dependent on Chelsea and Everton settling on a fee for the Belgium international.

Lukaku has been strongly linked with a return to Stamford Bridge this summer as Antonio Conte looks to bolster his attacking options at the club and the uncertainty surrounding Diego Costa’s future continues.

The same article claims that a deal for Lukaku could go through for a transfer fee of around £80m.

Chelsea are believed to be on the lookout for a number of attacking signings this summer as Conte prepares his team for a return to the Champions League next season.

However, despite all of the speculation, the Blues have not yet brought in any new players, and have lost young striker Dominic Solanke to Liverpool.
