Chelsea is set to complete the £61m signing of Alex Sandro from Juventus, according to reports in The Daily Mail.

The Premier League Champions is set to wrap up a club-record deal to land full-back Sandro from Juventus.

Sandro joined Juventus in 2015 from FC Porto for a transfer fee of £23million, he is one of the defenders that formed Juventus solid defensive line, he has played 49 games for Juventus and has scored a total of five goals for the Italian Champions.

The left back has been in fine form especially last season as Juventus won the Serie A title and the Coppa Italia, he also helped Juventus to reach the final of the UEFA Champions League.

Ake is determined to enjoy regular first-team football next season after being recalled early from his loan spell at Bournemouth back in January.

Ake found his first-team opportunities at Stamford Bridge limited following his return after impressing during the first half of the season with Eddie Howe’s men.

Although the Blues are “reluctant” to sell the 22-year-old Ake if they do end up doing a deal, the will demand to have a buy-back option inserted in his contract.

Chelsea has been linked with a host of players this summer but is yet to confirm the arrival of any new deals ahead of next season.
