Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr is confident leading up to tonight’s World Cup Group D match against Croatia in Kaliningrad.
“Croatia are favourites in this game, we are supposed to finish bottom of the group going by our FIFA rankings,” Rohr explained.
“It will be a big team with stars against a young team with good collective (play).
“But we’re ambitious.”
“Croatia are a great team with great players, but we want to focus on our team,” Mikel added.
“It will be 11 against 11, we’re looking forward to the game.”
He continued: “We have prepared very well, we’re ready.
“We want to start this tournament well.”
This will be the first-ever meeting between the two teams after Croatia gained independence in 1992.
