The Israeli government has been forced to
postpone a national election for Britney
Spears concert in Tel Aviv, her first non-US
tour since 2011. The American singer’s tour
performance scheduled for 3rd of July, the
same date Israel’s opposition Labour party
was to hold their national election, saw the
political party move their election to 4th of
July so it doesn’t clash with her concert.
In a statement issued by the Labor Party’s
chairperson, Isaac Herzog, he explained that
the election is being ‘delayed by one day
there is a major event at Yarkon Park on
July 3, 2017. That ‘major event’ is clearly
understood to be Britney Spears concert.
