Five time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi has got fans of Manchester City far too excited for their own good yesterday morning as fans noticed Messi had followed their team on Instagram.
It still seems somewhat unlikely however Messi has reportedly been interested in signing for the Premier League club before, they are one of the few clubs on earth who could afford him and he could be interested in a reunion with Pep Guardiola.
The fact he hasn’t signed a new deal yet and Sheikh Mansour claimed the club were going to make a huge signing just adds to the intrigue.
