Some Nigerian soldiers currently based in Borno state, as they fight militant Islamist group Boko Haram, celebrated the new month of August 2017 by having peppersoup made with fresh exotic meat.
They caught and slaughtered a monitor lizard, using the meat to prepare peppersoup.
