PHOTONEWS: Workers at Abia State University Teaching Hospital embark on strike over unpaid salaries

Workers and pensioners at the Abia State University Teaching Hospital,ABSUTH embarked on a warning strike on Monday over seven months unpaid salaries by the management of the hospital.
The aggrieved workers displayed placards with inscriptions such as; “Our pensioners are all dying please remember them”, “Workers deserve this wages why not pay them”, “We were intentionally denied bail-out fund and up to date no payment to any pensioner in ABSUTH”.

The protest was staged in front of the University teaching hospital.
