Nigerian music legend, Femi Kuti, got fans at the 75,000-capacity Cairo International Stadium rocking alongside Egyptian music star Hakim and Dobet Gnahore from Ivory Coast as part of festivities in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) opening ceremony.

Before the AFCON 2019 opening ceremony, Femi Kuti had previously performed at the Soccer City Stadium in Johannesburg for the 2010 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony, the first edition of the competition ever hosted in Africa, on June 11, 2010.

He collected the sum of N25,000 from each of the victims but they didn’t get the job he promised.
