Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez has hinted that he has already made a decision about his Arsenal future.

The Chile international’s future has been a source of relentless speculation in the summer transfer window but the Arsenal forward has given no indication to his plans ahead of the 2017-18 season.

Sanchez failed to agree a contract extension with the north London club despite being involved in fruitless negotiations with Arsenal during the 2016-17 campaign.

The South American has less than 12 months remaining on his current deal with the FA Cup winners, which could force Arsenal to cash in on their top goal-scorer if Sanchez is unwilling to commit to a new contract.

The 28-year-old has been linked with a move to Premier League rivals Manchester City and Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich in recent weeks.

Speaking to the media after Chile beat Portugal on penalties in the Confederations Cup semi-finals, Sanchez was asked whether shootout hero Claudio Bravo would be his team-mate at Manchester City next term.

Sanchez said: “Good question. Right now I’m focused on the Confederations Cup.

“When this is finished I will see if I stay or if I go. I don’t know.”

Pressed on whether he has made a decision about his summer plans, Sanchez added:

“Yes. I know what it is, but cannot say.”

Arsenal finished in fifth place in the Premier League table.
