An enraged wife in India is facing attempted murder charges after hacking off her drunk husband’s penis when he tried to rape her in front of their children.
According to the Police, she revealed in a statement that her husband had come home after a lunchtime drinking session and began to grope her in front of their kids. To prevent the sexual assault, which was common to him, she grabbed a kitchen knife and sliced off his genitals.
Neighbours told the Police that the couple often fought whenever Ravinder came home drunk. He is said to be recovering in a hospital but no reports have confirmed whether or not doctors were able to reattach his severed manhood.
The Police states that the wife insists that she acted in self-defence.
